Whistler Events April 2007

Kids Skiing For many ski towns, the winter season winds to a close in April. Not so in Whistler. The storms of winter have deposited an astonishing amount of snow still picture perfect in spring and ready-to-ski through June – just ask the “Heavy Metal Motorcycle Mommas” who will race during the Mom’s Mountain Classic on April 11. Also yet to come is the biggest party of the winter season: the legendary TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival brings ten days of winter sport, fashion, film, photography and Canada’s largest free outdoor concert series.
