"On behalf of the racers and Alpine Canada, we just want to send out a heartfelt THANK YOU to the hundreds of folks who contributed to an incredible National Ski Championships and the Canadian Alpine Ski Team’s first training and testing camp of the 2007/08 season.
Our thanks to everyone who contributed, including the Race Organizing Committee, Weasel Workers and cat drivers, for your relentless determination to prepare the best race track possible, under any conditions!

Whistler Wellness Week features more than 50 fascinating and informative workshops, seminars and demonstrations. The week offers wide range of health and lifestyle presentations and information ranging from fitness, yoga, meditation, Ayurveda and Pilates; to weight loss, supplements, diets and nutrition; hormones and stress, interpersonal relationships, goal setting and "living your dream" to name just a few.
Whistler Blackcomb has announced a bold move with the construction of the Peak to Peak Gondola. Completion is scheduled for December 2008. The two mountains will be united by a gondola that will set world records for length and height while providing an unmatched experience for both winter and summer resort guests.
