Fresh snow on Whistler Blackcomb

Fresh snow fell, is falling and will fall on Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain!

Ski Powder in WhistlerSince Wednesday, already 15 centimetres of fresh snow have fallen on the slopes and the Village of Whistler, BC. More has to come over the weekend with a forecast of 40 centimetres over the next three days, until the end of the weekend, and a lot more to come within the next week and later. Fresh and soft powder everyday, a skier’s (and snowboarder’s!) dream!

The Peak Chair opened on Whistler last week and the Glacier Express opened on Blackcomb this week. With more and more snow to come, the season has definitely started and it will only get better! Freeriders will enjoy endless access to back country terrain.
For freestyle fans, both terrain parks are opened and the Blackcomb Half Pipe as well. The Whistler’s Hal Pipe will open shortly under some fresh snow. It’s time to try some new jumps and test your skills!

Come for a powder weekend or extended vacations to enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the largest terrain in North America. Contact Aloha Whistler today to book your luxury Whistler accommodation, so you’ll be sure to enjoy the fresh snow and take advantage of the hot tub after your day on the mountain.
