Summer Glacier Skiing/Snowboarding on Blackcomb Mountain: June 9 to July 27

Whistler Mountain Bike Park Now Open
The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is the No. 1 lift accessed downhill park in the world, offering 200 kilometres of lift-serviced descending trails for thrill seekers of all levels. The world-class Bike Park crew is constantly setting new boundaries with its design innovation. Trails are labeled by level of difficulty from green runs for beginners to blue and black diamond trails in the main bike park. Trails range from gentle banked cruisers through the Coastal forest to tight and twisty single track - perfect for intermediate riders. For more advanced gravity junkies, there are steep rock faces, gnarly root-strewn lines, drop-offs of all descriptions and more.
Bike Park 101: June 14, 2008
You don't have to be a pro to have fun in the bike park. This is the perfect program for beginner riders who would like an introduction to the Whistler Blackcomb Bike Park. If you feel confident on a bike but have never ridden in the Bike Park before, Bike Park 101 will have you off and running in no time. Includes Bike Park Lift Ticket, Lesson and Rentals. Groups meet on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00 p.m. in front of the MAC Pan.
Whistler Farmers' Market: June 15 to October 13, 2008
Starting Father's Day, June 15, the Whistler Farmers' Market hits the pedestrian streets of the Upper Village (near The Fairmont Chateau Whistler) every Sunday with artisans, crafts, organic and local produce, jams, honey, baked goods, jewelery and much more. Runs every Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. until October 13, 2008.

Comfortably Numb Trail Running Race: June 22, 2008
Comfortably Numb follows a winding 25 km trail through moss covered forest. Elevation gain is mostly in the first half. Majority of the course is undulating trail through forest, with most of the descent and tricky sections near the finish.

Whistler Cancer Awareness and Prevention Walk: June 14, 2007
One step closer to awareness, prevention and a cure is the purpose of this Canadian Cancer Society of BC fundraiser. Participants will walk distances ranging from five to 25 kilometres on Whistler's beautiful Valley Trail. Walk starts and finishes at Dusty's Bar & Grill in Creekside, starting at 9 a.m.
