Film Premiere: Time Well Wasted - September 1, 2007
Sandbox returns with the world premiere of their third major release. Time Well Wasted is a 16mm snowboard
film featuring fantastic footage of wild riding and mountain fun. With some new faces and sponsors, and
great production quality, this is their best film yet. Fabulous shooting locations include: Whistler Blackcomb,

Summer Saturdays - September 1 and September 8, 2007
Summer Saturdays at the Vancouver 2010 Information Centre Deck continue through September 8 with Celebrate
the Torch on September 1, featuring a torch relay and torch display from previous Games; and Celebrate

Whistler Writers Festival - September 14 to 16, 2007
The Annual Whistler Writers Festival returns to Whistler for its sixth year and features more than 20 leading

Dirt Series by Rocky Mountain Bikes September 14, 2007 to 16, 2007

27th Annual Terry Fox Run - September 16, 2007
Walk, run, wheelchair or bike in support of Terry Fox's legendary 'Marathon of Hope'. The run at Meadow
Park Sports Centre begins at 10 a.m. and includes both 5 kilometre and 10 kilometre route options. No registration
fee is required, however donations are graciously accepted. The first Terry Fox Run in 1981 attracted 300,000
participants across Canada and raised $3.5 million. To date, more than $400 million has been raised worldwide
for cancer research in Terry's name through the annual Terry Fox Run, held across Canada and around the

up Helm Creek, traverses the cinder flats towards Taylor Meadows and Garibaldi Lake and then drops to the

6th Annual Canadian Music Therapy Ride - September 29, 2007
On Saturday, September 30th, an impressive pack of motorcycles and classic cars will hit the Sea to Sky
highway from Vancouver to Whistler, in support of The Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund. Previous years
rides have seen many prominent musicians within the pack, including Colin James, Burton Cummings, Jan Arden,
Nickleback, Chin, Bif Naked, and several TV and Radio personalities. Join the ride and receive a tax deductible
receipt, a groovy long sleeved shirt, a BBQ up in Whistler, Police Escort, and some great prizes up for

The Canadian Music Therapy Trust Fund is a bold, non-profit initiative designed to integrate, educate,
