Reel Alternatives in Whistler 2010
Film fans visiting Whistler on the third Wednesday of each month from now until March, 2011 should plan to attend screenings held at Village 8 Cinemas of some of the best independent films from Canada and around the world.
The Reel Alternatives film series is a Whistler Film Festival project supported by the Toronto International Film Festival Group's Film Circuit.
Reasonably Priced Film Viewing
For the very reasonable price of $12 you will be treated to such entertaining and thought provoking productions as the Nov.17 offering of Mark Romanek's unsettling love story, Never Let Me Go.
Previous films have included Sturla Gunnersson's Force Of Nature - The David Suzuki Movie and Lisa Cholodenko's The Kids Are Alright.
Guests involved with the film being shown are often on hand to relate anecdotes and discuss the production of the film with the audience.
Future events will be announced one month before each screening.
Discounts for this series as well as for the Whistler Film Festival are available for subscribers.
All films start at 7:00pm.
