Rain in the Village, means snow in the Alpine
Our long, long summer seems to finally be coming to an end, and
with it the valley and village have been getting a little
wet.
However, there is a marked upside to all this rain. It means one
thing right now: Snow in the Alpine!
Freezing levels are already dropping off to 1,500m (around Pig
Alley) by the weekend, and with up to 30 cm's forecasted between
now and then, you can guarantee all the locals who've been
snow-dancing these past few weeks, are finally seeing the fruits of
their labour pay off!
You can even see our snow line creeping down the mountain in the
picture above!
Thank ULLR!
