Reel Alternatives in Whistler 2010
Film fans visiting Whistler on the third Wednesdayof each month from now until March, 2011 should plan toattend screenings held at Village 8 Cinemas of some of the bestindependent films from Canada and around the world.
The ReelAlternatives film series is a Whistler Film Festival projectsupported by the Toronto International Film Festival Group’s FilmCircuit.
Reasonably Priced Film Viewing
For the very reasonable price of $12 you willbe treated to such entertaining and thought provoking productionsas the Nov.17 offering of Mark Romanek’s unsettling love story,Never Let Me Go.
Previous films have included Sturla Gunnersson’s Force Of Nature- The David Suzuki Movie and Lisa Cholodenko’sThe Kids Are Alright.
Guests involved with the film being shown are often on hand torelate anecdotes and discuss the production of the film with theaudience.
