Locally & Lovingly Crafted

The majority of the site’s photos were supplied by Steve Rogers, a prominentlocal photographer. Custom FitOnline Solutions, a Whistler web design and developmentcompany, created the logo and website utilizing a contentmanagement system with integrated blog, weather feeds, eventscalendar, photo / video galleries and more.

Reel Alternatives in Whistler 2010

Reel Adventures Film FestivalFilm fans visiting Whistler on the third Wednesdayof each month from now until March, 2011 should plan toattend screenings held at Village 8 Cinemas of some of the bestindependent films from Canada and around the world.

The ReelAlternatives film series is a Whistler Film Festival projectsupported by the Toronto International Film Festival Group’s FilmCircuit.

FIBT World Cup at Whistler Sliding Centre

Whistler Sliding Centre returns for the 2010 – 2011 winterseason this month starting with the Viessmann FIBT World Cup.

The Viessmann FIBT World Cup will be the first competitive eventto take place at the Whistler Sliding Centre since the 2010 Olympicand Paralympic Winter Games that took place last year.

Skeleton and Bobsleigh events featuring some of the bestathletes from Canada and around the world starts November 25 andwill continue on through until November 27th.
