Whistler Bear

Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain’s ski areas hemlock cedar forests are home to approximately 50 black bears.

Explore this beautiful area from May to October with world-renown bear expert Micheal Allen. Allen has over 20 years experience studying black bears. You will be taken to visit active bear dens, daybeds and feeding sites with a backdrop of glacial peaks and breath taking sunsets.

Whistler Bear Tour Tips

  • Dress in layers and appropriate clothing for the time of year
  • Don’t forget your camera
  • Groups are limited to 3-6 people per tour unless special arrangements are made
  • Be at the Wizard Express chairlift 15 minutes before your tour time
  • Hiking boots are recommended
