Developed on two mountains, Whistler Blackcomb provides8,171 acres of terrain, from easy green runs to discoversnowboarding, to chutes and gladed runs for more advancedsnowboarders.
In addition to more than 200 trails, each mountain providesthree terrain parks for beginner, intermediate and advanced riderswith jumps, rails and more so you can practice new tricks. Bothmountains have a half-pipe and Blackcomb also offers a boardercross.
Snowboarding Lessons & Skills Clinics
If it’s your first time riding, you might wantto get an instructor for a couple of days, to learn the righttechnique to flow down the hill. And more advanced riders might beinterested in skills clinics, either freeride or freestyledepending on your tastes. Instructors are trained and certified andsome skills camps are organized by some of the biggest pros outthere.
Lessons are available from a couple of hours to several days andcan be private or in groups depending on your preferences. Thereare also freeride, freestyle, women only and several expert-levelclinics and camps available. Kids lessons and programs are offeredfrom 3-month to 18-year old.
